In the times of extreme climate change, Organic Farming is a "Do or Die" situation. In climate change scenario the farmers are worst hit as their crops are at maximum risk all the times from sowing to reaping. The chemical farming is very costly due to use of fertilizers and pesticides. This increases the risk proportionately. In such situations, Organic Farming is the only solution which has no or very little cost, therfore the risk is minimum.
Lets adopt and encourage Organic Farming for the health of citizens and conservation of Nature and Environment.
Instead of fertigation,pesticides use has become more common and cultivators consider it as the only survival mechanism to protect their crops..Biological controls are not so common.In fact life cycles of pests need to be juxtaposed with the flowering and fruiting pattern of plants and more biological pesticides need to be in action. There is a significant trend also amongst farmers to grow separately for their consumption and for marketable surplus.
